Church on the Way Webstore

Church on the Way in England wanted a Web Store to sell some of their bookshop items.

We had previously set up their church websites in Joomla, therefore setting up their Web Store using a Joomla extension was a natural progression. Currently their Web Store offers 100 items and they made their first sale before the site was live.

What Will it Cost?

As in all things in life, how much your website is going to cost depends.

On a lot of things.

If you need changes to your current site, or need a simple html website contact me for a job quote.

My hourly rate is 30 per hour.

Website Package

1200 will buy you a complete, full, easy to manage website...

you provide the content.
1700 with the "email and extensions" package.

Optionally: for 65 monthly I will fully manage your site including 2 hours of tech support per month.

Web Store?

Web StoreIf you would like an online web-store the cost would depend...

on the number of items you choose to start with because the initial set up of the store is what takes the most time. After the initial set-up you can add items to your store individually, or with an excel spreadsheet.

Adding a webstore to an already existing Joomla website is relatively inexpensive.

That is a trick. Nothing is ever unlimited. The web-host used offers unlimited bandwidth but if your usage goes over it will require increased fees.

However, for your business to get even remotely close to that bandwidth usage your website will be so successful that you will need to hire an on-site web guy and restructure your internet presence plan.

If your website processes are set-up correctly you should never need excessive bandwidth use until you are wildly successful.

But training is included.

About Us

Mike has been designing websites since 1997.

Starting with Windows Notepad and a free Geocities account he learned how to code straight html and progressed (along with the rest of the world) through tables, frames, forms and on to dhtml and css.

Progressing through photo editing software Mike purchased his first copy of Adobe PhotoShop when version 5.5 was the hottest thing alive.

Now a PhotoShop expert Mike has used Photoshop for logo creation, photo adjustments, graphic creation (including car make-overs: ) and on to print media layout.

Skilled at using JavaScript he never mastered writing JavaScript, he always found how to use JavaScript codes that were available and made them work, but did not learn writing it from scratch.

Since 2005 Mike has concentrated on learning cms, specifically Joomla. He has set up over 30 websites, migrated over 30 sites from 1.0 to 1.5, used many different extensions, modified templates (html, css, and graphics).

In charge of support for approximately 40 Joomla websites he has learned a lot about how to resolve website issues.

Recently he has expanded his knowledge of mysql database administration, linux based web-server administration, PhotoShop's pen tool (not mastered yet), shopping cart software, advanced search engine techniques and php.
